Why Side Flashing Is Not the Same as External Corner Flashing

Yes, the dimensions are the same-but the installation position and function are completely different.
Side Flashing is specifically designed for the junction between the roof surface and a vertical wall-along the side edge of the roof. It seals the long horizontal gap where the roof meets the wall.
In contrast, gable flashing (external corner flashing) is used to cover outward-facing corners. If these are installed incorrectly, rainwater can flow backward along the side and penetrate into the roof structure.

So, how is installed?
Our product features an L-shaped profile: one side overlaps the roof tiles, while the other side is fixed against the wall and sealed with waterproof sealant.
140 mm size: suitable for standard residential side edges
940 mm size: ideal for factories and large-span roofs
You can mix different colors and models within one order (minimum order quantity: 100 meters). We also provide free samples, and customized samples can typically be completed within one week.
OEM and ODM services are available-simply send us your drawings, and we will manufacture accordingly.

Each batch of is delivered with a quality inspection report and certificate of conformity. All products undergo 100% inspection before packaging, and third-party inspections are welcome.
If any damage occurs during transportation, we handle it based on severity:
Minor scratches: compensated with a discount
Severe deformation: replaced free of charge
We offer a warranty of 10 to 30 years, depending on the application environment.
Payment terms:
30% deposit for standard products
50% upfront for customized products
We support EXW, FOB, and DDP trade terms. Discounts are available for bulk orders, and payment in USD is accepted.

In Inner Mongolia's "Ten Full Coverage" program, Side Flashing was used for side-edge sealing in thousands of residential buildings. The same solution was applied in the Yan'an Baota District residential renovation project.
